I would be curious and finding a doctor who could give me my anxiety medication I have been on it since my early twenties and I'm 47 now and my doctor has retired and his partner will not prescribe my Xanax any suggestions

He has been a family doctor of mine for years, however he will insist of monitoring you in the office for 3 months.

Ive been on xanax for ah number of years but the dr i was seeing retired now im having trouble finding one and im so sick without my meds ive been sick for weeks.

I just moved to Phoenix and I was prescribed Xanax for quite a few years and I'm trying to find a doctor out here to prescribe me my medication but I don't know where to begin any help a referrals would be greatly appreciated I'm afraid that I will not find a doctor and get sick thank you and God bless

Hello. I too am in need of a psych that will prescribe me xanax. I have extreme anxiety. My heart races, wont go outside, cant talk to people. I suffer from depression. Try to stay as positive as possible. Now im bipolar. Have meds for that. I can't understand how many people i have met that have them prescribed and they dont even take them! They sell em all. #1 - I dont want to have to buy em off the streets. #2 - I have insurance. Problem is my doctor up and left in May and my pcp has been prescribing them for me only cuz i was busy battling cervical cancer. I can't just let my fingers do the walking and ask for xanax like a fiend.

Well that was a crappy thing... That's just like saying "I got a prescription, I feel normal, sorry your having anxiety or going thru withdrawals. Too sad too bad". To put it in layman terms it was WRONG.

Looking for a doctor to prescribe my 2mg xanax I've beeen perscribed since 2007 since my PCP can't any longer and the wait list for psychiatrists is 3-4 months and my $600 a month insurance doesn't cover psychiatrists.
