Dobesil Indications And Side Effects

I was diagnosed with hemorrhoids and together with other drugs was prescribed Dobesil. What does it treat and what are the side effects? I am 30 yrs old.

Dobesil contains Calcium Dobesilate, it is commonly given to people that have certain problems with their blood vessels, such as hemorrhoids, because it is considered a vasoprotective and improves the health of the blood vessels to prevent the associated bleeding.

As to the side effects, I am having trouble finding much additional information on it, what we have is very limited.

How many Dobesil 500mg capsules may be taken in a day and how many days is it supposed to be used for when treating piles? My age is 59.

I have suffered from breast cancer. My surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy were completed in the end of Sept. 2012. Since then I am suffering from the problem of fissures. My doc advised me to take Dobesil for 1 month. Now I am having side effects from Dobesil (i.e rashes on radio affected area & on the veins of that hand where chemo was given). Now my problem is that if I stop Dobesil my fissures start up again. Can I continue Dobesil for a long time? My doc gave me Allegra for rashes. I'm taking that also. How much time will it take to cure my fissures problem? Will Dobesil cure my fissures? What side effects will it cause if I continue taking it?
