I need to know if it's ok to take this medication Vicodin ES 7.5- 300 mg cause I'm going to have post markings done on Thursday and I'm having back pain. Also I would like to know if Acetaminophen - Codeine #300 is also an alternative, do they contain aspirin?

Hello, Tito! How are you?

Vicodin contains Acetaminophen (Tylenol) and Hydrocodone and the other contains exactly what you listed, Acetaminophen (Tylenol) and Codeine, so neither contain Aspirin.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation.

Is there anything else I can help with?
