round white pill with m 177 on it. other side has no imprint. found this in daughters room. need to know what it is. ## I found the round white pill marked M 177 to be a 250 mg Divalproex sodium ER tablet. Divalproex sodium is noted to be used to treat seizure disorder in children over age 10 to adults. It is also taken to prevent migraine headaches in adults. is valparin chrono tab is banned drug in the other parts of world except india ## Valparin Chrono contains the active ingredient Divalproex Sodium and I am not aware of it being banned in other countries, though it is possible, but in the U.S. and Canada you will usually find it being referred to under a different name, which is Valproate Semisodium.
