i would like to know if the colors on xanax bars mean anything like strength. I have seen the long bars with four lines to divide them in white, yellow, and green. Any info you can give me would be great thanks. Also if it doesnt say XR on the bottle then it shouldnt be xsended release bars no matter what the color?

I take the 2mg tablet bars scored x4 w/ what looks like PorR, 0, 3, 9 on each 1/2mg of the total 2mg bar of alprazolam by Purepac. Use for panic attack or break as-need for anxiety. Also take yellow puffy square tablets of alprazolam w/ a 1 on one side and a G for Greenstone on other side, Xanax-XR, for constant support of CNS. I suffered what I call a shutdown when cold-turkey'd off a benzo after being on one or another of them for an extended period of time. Dr erred & changed my health constitution maybe permanently. Pulled out of this dangerous episode which had no name w/ Valium. There is no code, no diagnosis 'nervous breakdown'. I thought this was right-on, but 2drs looked at each other & giggled when I asked them if this was what was happening! I switched to Xanax in both forms a yr later. New dr will not put patients on two diff' benzos.

The colors are only applicable to the name brand. They do not mean anything when it comes to the generic tablets of Alprazolam.

The extended release as sold under the brand name lists XR, however, the generics could use different letters to denote the same thing, such as ER (extended release) CR (controlled release) and some others.

the only XR xanax is a 3mg triangular pill with green coating and a 3 on it. The others are all just different manufacturers

Untrue. There is a 2mg extended release Xanax, though only available in a few countries.
In India, XR alprazolam is available in 1mg & 1.5mg. Xanax is not available in that country, and the largest selling alp there is Alprax by Torrent.
Xanax is sold in Pakistan, made under licence by Parke Davis, with the imprint 'XANAX 1.0' instead of the usual 'UPJOHN 90'. I do not recommend it to anybody looking for cheap Xanax online, as it has consistently tested as very weak, so called 1mg tabs containing on average only 685mcg alprazolam.
Of course, better quality than Xanax may be had by buyimg Gador Alplax from Argentina or Galenika Ksalol from Serbia.

Klimmer, it depends very much on the brand/maker. Many folk don't realise that the excipients, the inactive ingredients of a a tablet, can affect its effect on people. For instance I have noted elsewhere that Mylan's alprazolam feels very weak, and I find the 'GG249' 2mg bars by Sandoz USA to be just awful. In fact I think I've mentioned that of all American generic alps, only Greenstone are as effective as I expect. I still have not tried the '039' yellow Purepac/Actavis bars, but if they ate as good as the generics made by Actavis in the UK I expect they will indeed be on a par with Greenstone and the Pfizer/Upjohn Xanax brand. As I wrote on this page, there are two, Alplax and Ksalol, which excel. Most all Argentinian generics, like the bright green oval 2mg by Denver Farma, are, for some reason, quite superb.
I'd say that if it says it contains 2mg alp, then it SHOULD but excipients can block effect in many people. I have never heard a baf word against any of the brands and generics I have mentioned as being good, many though share my view of Mylan.
Still can't find anywhere to ship the yellow Purepac to the UK; if anybody knows where I may find a month's supply of those to try, please let me know! Greenstone can't be the ONLY top quality generic alp in the US!!

So is the bright green football 1.0's better than any colored 1.0'? Reasor's Pharmacy is the only place I know to get green foot balls

The blue 1mg football shape is stronger than the green 1mg. Blue 1mg circle xanaxes are the weakest out of all the 1mg xanaxes.
