Percocet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, while Roxicodone only contains the Oxycodone.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

The Acetaminophen and Oxycodone combination is also available under the name Roxicet.

What can i ask my dr to give me to take along with my percocet 10s? I stay in pain. i go to a pain dr and i am currently doing inj's. in my neck first, and then the back and i need something more for the pain. I thought about a pain patch. Would that help?

Yes, you don't want to keep increasing pain meds when you don't actually need them, because you just get used to the medication and you will have to keep increasing. I also get inj's. in my neck and lumbar as well. I was prescribed Fentanyl pain patch 25 mg and it really helps. It keeps a slow steady pain relief even over night, which helps you sleep better as well. Hope this helps. I have been changed recently from hydrocodone to oxycodone. That is why I am saying to stay as low on the pills as possible and add a patch. That way if you are like me and will likely have a lifelong issue, when you need a stronger pill, it will work.
