Diclofenac And Acetaminophen

I am taking Diclofenac sodium ec 75 mg twice daily and it is not even touching on the pain I am having. I was told by a pharmacist that I could take Acetaminophen with this, but to what extent? Can I take it with the pill or in between pills? How long should I wait?

Are you on any other medications?

While it's technically okay to take both, there are other factors that can play a role, such as those that I've asked about.

Have you talked to your doctor about it?

If the Diclofenac isn't helping your pain, they may be able to prescribe something else.

My tonsils were removed. I was prescribed oxycodone/acetaminophen (325 mg). The pain is still bad to the point I am in pain trying to eat. I would like to add one pill of Diclofenac sodium Dr 75 mg tab to my prescribed medication. Will that be OK?
