Was perscribed this drug in Nassau, Bahamas but cannot find it in USA. It is a diabetes medication.

Yes, it contains Gliclazide and is used to treat diabetes, but helping to lower and control blood sugar. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, headache, increased urination, diarrhea, and stomach pain.

Have you consulted your GP? It is available here, as well as other equivalent medications.

Is there a cheaper medicine than Diamicron for diabetes? My husband is taking Diamicron 2x a day and it's expensive for us.
