Diabetic And Pregnant

Hello, I was diagnosed with diabetes 8 months ago and on the 28/03/2017 I found out I was pregnant and my blood sugar tests are as high as 224 while fasting and 334 after lunch. Because I discontinued my drugs and started taking karela (bittter melon) on an empty stomach, my sugar read 155 and 200 after breakfast, but since finding out about my pregnancy it has really been high. I am on glycomet Gp2 which I started just now. I would like to know if I am safe with my baby as it's just 4 weeks along. I am really scared of complications. Is there anything else I should present to my doctor as tomorrow is my 2nd visit? Thank you.
