I found a few in my medicine cabinet when cleaning, label unreadable. ## I found a few oval white tablets labeled AZ345 on one side, and scored on the other. I was thinking they may possibly be pain medicine from an injury i had a year ago? Help please. ## From what we've been able to find, this is a product called Mucus Relief DM, it's a cold remedy that contains 20mgs of Dextromethorphan and 400mgs of Guaifenensin. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, nervousness and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

Side effects please....rashes? ## Hello, Okiemo! How are you? This tablet contains 30mgs of Dextromethorphan and 600mgs of Guaifenesin, it is a cold remedy called Guaifenex DM. What type of rash? Is it just a rash, or is it more like hives that are itchy? It could be an allergic reaction to this medication and you should see your doctor about it, in case it needs treatment.

It worked!!!! It was the best. It also was sold as Buckley's Cough Medicinie. I miss it. Nothing compares to it. ## Hi pecool, Did you happen to come across any other retailers or distributors that still offer this medication? After doing some additional research, I found that Dextromethorphan is the name of the active ingredient. However, the Buckley brand itself seems to only be available in Canada. There are also notices from the FDA stating their intent to remove some unapproved allergy, cough, and cold medications from the market, that may include Dextromethorphan. You can read more about this important warning message at: nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/meds/a682492.html For more specific details on the availability of this product, Buckley's customer service department c...

i`m suffering hbp. can i take tuseran forte and alaxan fast relief ## Tuseran Forte contains Dextromethorphan, Acetaminophen/Paracetamol and Phenylephrine. There is a warning that it may elevate blood pressure, so it is probably not advisable to use it, without first consulting with your doctor. Alaxan FR contains Acetaminophen/Paracetamol and Ibuprofen, used to treat pain, fever and swelling. The problem with this one is that the Ibuprofen can cause your body to retain fluids, which can be dangerous when your blood pressure is high. Have you tried consulting your doctor on what you can safely use? ## What kind of contraceptive pill can a breastfeeding mother use..

I have a pill that has "ty017 cotenin" on it, I found this pill outside my door, what is it and what is it for? ## I can't be 100% certain, since it's a foreign medication, but from what I'm finding and if the site translators are correct, this tablet is sold under the brand name Cotenin and contains the active ingredient Dextromethorphan, which is an antitussive that's used to help prevent or treat coughing. This is available in Taiwan, but it's not a controlled medication in most countries, so someone could easily have brought it to the U.S. with them or ordered it online. Learn more Dextromethorphan details here. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and drowsiness. Is anyone else familiar with this tablet?

Is taking mucobron forte capsule 3 x a day has side effect for pregnant woman? ## Mucobron Forte contains Chlopheniramine, Dextromethorphan, Guaifenesin and Phenylpropanolamine, it is used to treat respiratory problems, such as the symptoms associated with a cold or allergies. The two concerns here, from what I can find, are the Dextromethorphan and the Phenylpropanolamine, their haven't really been any studies done using the in pregnant women, but animal studies have shown their to be some risk and the Phenylpropanolamine has been shown to cause some eye and ear defects, in the babies of pregnant women that have used it.
