I am trying to identify a round yellow pill with the number 92 on one side and blank on the other. The edge of the round pill is flat from front to back. The pill is slightly convex. ## This tablet is manufactured by Tris Pharma and they list it as containing 5mgs of Dexmethylphenidate. (NDC 27808-0092) It is a generic for Focalin, which is a stimulant commonly used to treat ADHD. Hi... On my med bottle are these numbers: 00093-5277-01; Drug manufacturer: Teva Pharm. The numbers are correct. The pill description on the bottle says it's a white round pill imprinted with 93 on one side and 5277 on the other side. However, some of the pills are white with 93 on one side and blank on the other...and some of the pills in the same bottle look the same but have 93 on one side and 5277 on the other side... My concern is the pill with just 93 and no imprint on the other side. ## Hi Helen, Sorry to hear about your situation. Sounds like the pharmacy you filled your prescription at may have screwed up? In such a case, perhaps it would be best to contact them directly regarding this concern to see how or if they can remedy the problem... Part of the dilemma is that once ...

My eight year old son was on Adderal ER 15 mg for about 8 months and he really did well at school finally. Last week the Dr. noticed he has lost 8 lbs since we started it and now switched him to 15mg of Dexmethylph Er. He now weighs 45.2 lbs and is 47 in. tall. Is this going to make a difference? I know he won't gain weight by using this but how is it different than Adderal? ## Hello, Linda! How are you? Dexmethylphenidate is very similar, but not exactly the same, so there's a chance that it won't cause the same anorexic side effect for him that the Adderall did. However, the most common side effects include nausea, dizziness, insomnia and irritability. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## I take the same medication and I would advise to have caution when having yo...

White round pill with 198 on one side of the pill and the letter U on the other side. What is it used for? ## Hi Brenda, I came across a strikingly similar pill description and just wanted to share it with you in case yours might've been misinterpreted (not saying it was though). This particular pill I found is white round and has an imprint that's opposite to yours "n 861" if you held it upside down. It contains 10mgs of Dexmethylphenidate hydrochloride, used for treating ADHD and is a product of Gavis Pharmaceuticals. Does this sound like a possible match? ## Yes, my friend asked me if i knew what it was, which i did not. He had 2 different ones. One was that one, and the other was white round with 93 on one side, the other side was blank

can you take 20mg of Dexmethylphenidate with 100 mg Gabapentin? I want to make sure that my son can take both at the same time or should I wait until his meds are wear off. my son takes Dexmeth early morning and another one at 2pm and Gabapentin at nights at 9 pm. the 2 pm dexmeth is only a 15mg. ## Hello, Tricia! How are you? The Dexmethylphenidate can increase the effects of the Gabapentin, but it is not considered a dangerous interaction, it is only listed by the FDA as being a minor one. Thus, he may experience more nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth than usual, so he should only take them both if they have been prescribed for him. Is there anything else I can help with?

The FDA classifies this medication as a stimulant and warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming. It may also cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and weight loss. Is there anything else I can help with?

What is the best route of administration to get the most effects? ## This tablet contains 30mgs of Dexmethylphenidate, the active ingredient in Focalin, which is most commonly used to treat ADHD. The best route of administration is to take the tablets, by swallowing them orally, just as they are prescribed. It is not safe to try to use them in any other manner, because they are not formulated to be used that way, so it could result in overdose, or other health complications. Are there any other comments or questions?
