Dexa Rhinaspray contains the active ingredients Dexamethasone and Tramazoline and yes, it has been discontinued. I don't have a lot of details on this, but it appears that the Tramazoline was found to cause hypertension in people using it.

Have you talked to your doctor about finding an alternative?

Last week I asked a Greek pharmacist (on Samos) for Beconase spray (to treat hay fever). She said Beconase spray is for asthma and gave me Dexa-Rhinaspray N instead. So it's still available in Greece. I'm now back in UK and intend to ask my pharmacist for advice.

Fot Says:

To Dimitrios and those who take it for long periods:

"Not recommended for Dexa-Rhinaspray N ? for a period longer than one (1) week. People with chronic nasal congestion
should instead use it constantly, to consult their physician."

Quoted from: sfee.gr/node/3292
It means that prolonged use (more than one week is not suggested, and in cases of chronic problems you should ask your doctor instead.
