Dental Treatment On Methadone
UpdatedHi I wonder if anyone can help. I'm newly on methadone and have not been to a dentist in years :( Anyway, turns out I need to get 2 fillings. What happens when the patient is on methadone? Will the anaesthetic still work as normal to prevent pain?
What about pain afterwards? Or if it turned out I needed more treatment? What can someone on methadone be given for pain relief for what I imagine would be 4-7 days worth?
