Darvocet - 5112 V

What is in Darvocet "5112 V"? Is it as effective as Vicodin 750?

5112V is a generic Darvocet, which contains Acetaminophen 650mg + Propoxyphene 100 mg. It is a narcotic pain reliever, but is different from Vicodin because it contains Propoxyphene instead of Hydrocodone. The Vicodin 750 which you are talking about contains Acetaminophen 750 mg + Hydrocodone 7.5 mg. How long does darvocet stay in your system? Is it good for rhumetoid arthritis when due to ulcer & unable to take meds made for this painful condition?

I want to add that Darvocet, for my bad neuropathy and Lumbar nerve damage, has been a huge help. I was taking tramadol, then Vicoprofen, and now the Darvocet. It is just a much better medication as it seems to address pain in various areas of the body (as I have several injured areas) in a congruent manner--whole body feels better as opposed to the Vicoprofen not making my body as whole feel better. I can't explain, but it works for me.
