My niece is taking this drug for acne it is 100mg and she takes it 1 X a day. SHe is experiencing chest pain and says it is a side effect of this drug????? ALso, is it ok to just stop taking this drug or does one have to wean off?? I would appreciate anyone's advice or experience on this drug.

I am taking taking Doxycyle hyc 100 mg twice a day, I feel depressed, tired, dizzey and want to cry for about 3 hours after I take pill. Then I get better and all that goes away..I am taking it for a female infection..I can't tell that is any better, but they make me fell awful..
