I'm late diagnosed ADD. Been getting meds for 5+ yrs. Methylphenidate (generic Methylin) 10mg 2x daily. But---seemed to do little. Changed to gen. Adderall-- 10mg 2x, recently up to 15mg 2x daily. Corepharm 10mg just say "Amphetamine salts" on script. bottle. Had to go to Walgreens as reg. pharmacy (King Soopers Denver) was out. SWITCHING TO BARR (TEVA) WAS DRAMATIC!! EDGY--IN SOLAR PLEXUS. FEELS LIKE DIRTY 'STREET DRUG' as I tried to think how to explain it to pharmacist....tho' I tho't better of that, even though the referance is from 1968 :(

BUT--- Reading several blogs of ADD/ADHD med users...DAMNED CONFUSING INCONSISTENCIES!! Makes me crazy (er). [D-amphetamine bad without 25%L-amphetamine; Name brands better but 10+times as expensive. Generics & name brands seem to vary by batch (one fill to the next----on and on for twenty lines would still arrive at nonconsistency accross the board---Some make you sleepy or do nothing; others make you edgy (dirty drug feel); some help then dont in cycles---UGH!

EXCEPT!!: FOLLOW MOST RECENT BLOG COMMENTS, since drug companies eat each other (TEVA/BARR 'HOSTILE' TAKEOVER OF SHIRE---(ORIG. ADDERALL) and the like. SEEMS READING MANY MOST-RECENT & DIFFERING BLOGS ON PERSONAL COMPARISONS FROM LONG TIME USERS IS THE BEST WAY TO KEEP HEADS UP!!

GOOD LUCK!! (DO do the legwork. Generics vary a LOT, and Name Brands are WIDELY RATED BETTER---- but shockingly expensive!! SOME PHARMACISTS WILL LISTEN AND TRY RECOMMENDED ALT. GENERICS, but try alt pharmacy offerings to compare: THERE CAN BE JAWDROPPING DIFFERENCES FROM ONE TO OTHER MAKERS!! THAT much IS SWORN TO BY MOST LONG TIME & DISCERNING USERS.
