D Allergy Jr. Capsules...in Generic

My daughter was taking DAllergy Jr. capsules for her allergies. It is the only medicine that we have found that really works for her. It was prescribed by her allergist. We haven't been able to get this drug for over 10 months or so, due to a problem with the manufacturer (that's what we were told). Now I hear that it is back on the market, but my insurance requires that I buy the generic version of this, which NO ONE seems to be able to get. Does anyone know what is up with this? I am so frustrated. It doesn't seem that I can get any straight answers or find a pharmacy that might be able to get me the medicine my daughter needs.

Same with daughter was taking Dallergy Jr. tablets to and worked very well for ger and now we can't get them for over 10 months,because of Manufacturer.

I've taken Dallery caplet for over 10 yrs. I took allergy shots for 20 years, so all I deal with now is raqweed in the Summer, no spring allergies anymore. (My age: 56) However I'm very upset I can no longer get Dallery. For years I would have to switch allergy medicine every couple years, not with Dallergy; it's worked forever! In the non-ragweed season; I just have a runny nose, people ask if I have a cold, and I say no my Dallergy hasn't kicked in yet

I read the above messages and feel the same way. This has been the most effective allergy medication for me for years. My doctor recommended finding the active ingredients in Dallergy: Chlorpheriramine, Phenylephrine, and Methscopolamine. The last is to help with the post nasal drainage. Has anyone found a med that has all three? Or something over the counter to take the place of these active ingredients? I'm okay if I have to buy 3 separate OTCs if it will have the same effect.

I am in the same situation. I've been taking d-allergy for over 10 years and it is the only thing I found that helps. I've heard the same thing - the manufacturer isn't making it anymore. That's what I was told. In the spring, I take Benadryl Severe Allergy and Sinus Headache. That's the only one that doesn't put me to sleep and works. But I can't imagine taking that every day.
