I have an itching sensation that has persisted for the last 5 years. I am applying Momate XL cream and ESmoist oil. My doctor prescribed Teczine 10 tablets. I took it for two days. Now I'm feeling so tired and sleepy. I am diabetic. My creatine is 1.44. Please suggest a permanent solution for itching which starts in the night and disturbs my sleep. I am in a very high administrative position.

hi, i am 36 male, have kidney disease (CKD2)& BP. My creatine level is 1.6/1.7, blood urea near 35,uric acid near 6 & potesium near 4.0 with other renal tests. Hemoglobin near 13.5 For this the medicine prescribed as below 1) Lasix 20 mg (1-0-0) 2) TELMA 40(1-0-0), 3) TELMA 20 (0-0-1) 4) amlogard 2.5 (0-1-0) 5) febuget 40(0-0-1) (A/d) (( for uric acide alternate day)) In past my patassium was increased > 6 but that time diet was not followed. Now with relatively low protein+low potassium diet My question is whether above medicines are safe in a long term, as I heared TELMA is generaly having tendency to increase potassium levels. appreciate your reply on this. Many thanks

I had blood test and I had this result I was wondering what does it meen (persistent reduction for 3 months or more in an eGFR/=60 mL/min/1.73 m2 may also have CKD if evidence of persistent proteinuria is persent. ## Hello, Based on my research, CKD is defined as the presence of decreased eGFR or proteinuria, which can occur together or independently. From what I can gather, the definition of CKD is when blood tests show these results: -persistent decreased eGFR 1+) on dipstick or urine protein-to-creatine ratio > 0.2, confirmed on two tests at least three months apart. Does this help to answer your question? ## Hello , I'm African American and its says my Value for EGFR is >59 Then below that it says . I was well in control with medicines Lasix 40Mg(1-0-0) ,Telsartan R5(1-0-1), Metstamlo 50/5(1-0-1) from sep2007 to june2010.Later, in yr 2012, Telsartan R5 replaced with Telma R5 and metstamlo stopped and instead Febuget 40 started for uric acid control. In june 2013 during routine check up got potassium level high (>6), then doc advised to stop Telma R5 as well. Now with 2nd doc (nephrology) option I am taking Stamlo Beta(1-0-1), moxovas(0-1-0), Febuget 40(0-0-1),Acigerd DSR(1-0-1),Ketostril(2-2-2). previously i was taking candylong 4 mg daily one tab. then after doctor advice olmesor 20 daily one tab. bu found my creatine increased to 1.125 from 0.9. whether kidney will be affected by using olmesor 20. ## Actually, Olmesartan is used to help protect the kidneys and is often given to people that are prone to developing kidney damage and renal disease, such as diabetics. Did your doctor change your medication after your level was found to be higher? If so, that would make sense, they wanted to put you on something that would help, rather than harm your kidneys. What is the level (s) of creatine in a person who is taking methadone? And how long would it take without taking methadone for your creatine levels to go back to normal range? ## Unfortunately, I can't really find any information on Methadone having an effect on Creatine levels. The only way I'm aware of it doing so would be if it caused kidney damage, but I am not a doctor, so there may be additional information out there on this. Learn more Methadone details here. Maybe we should explore this another way... Have your creatine levels been abnormal? If so, what are the levels and do you take any other medications, or have any medical conditions? Just as an example, I was put on the antibiotic Bactrim and had a very bad reaction to it and one of the things it did was throw my lev...

I have my latest labs. I am able to decipher most of it but am confused about the term eGFR. ## From what I can discover, it helps measure how well your kidneys are working, one of the thing it measures it your creatine levels. It stands for: estimated glomerular filtration rate. Do you have any other questions? ## i have a eGFR >60 with persistent proteinuria is present. what this mean to my kidneys
