Coveram Interaction With Other Drugs

I am taking Coveram. I want to know if there is a problem taking Xatral Lp 10 mg to treat a urinary tract infection?

Xatral LP will not treat a urinary tract infection. It is listed as containing Alfuzosin, which is used to treat urinary problems caused by an enlarged prostate.

If you have a UTI, you need to see a doctor for an antibiotic. The FDA lists the typical side effects of antibiotics as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

I went on Coveram and have started to experience significant oedema, principally in the legs and ankles, but also elsewhere. At the same time, I have developed increasing back pain on the lower RHS, in the vicinity of the kidneys. Initial diagnosis was strained QL muscle, but I don't ever remember hurting it. Could fluid retention around RH kidney be responsible for the back pain?
