Contrave Evening Dose

I'm starting my 2nd week on Contrave tomorrow and the prescription says to take 1 in the morning and one in the evening. If I take the morning dose around 7 a.m., what time should I take the evening dose? I haven't been able to find any information on how far apart the doses should be taken. Thanks.

Then are you able to sleep and not wake up from hunger during that night at all?

Can you take 3 tablets of Contrave in the morning and 1 tablet at night as long as you don't take more than the 4 tablets daily? What will happen if you take 3 at once?

I am on week 2 and take first pill around 8 or 9am and the second with a snack around 4. I find that taking the second pill before I get home from work helps with controlling evening binges. I have not noticed any extra side effects with taking the second pill less than 12 hrs after the first. I am suffering from the tiredness but nausea went away after the first few days.

My doctor recommended taking the second dose no later than 4pm to prevent it from interfering with sleep. I take it with an afternoon snack instead of a full meal.

Hi this is my second week taking my doctor told me to start taking 2 a day but I'm not sure if I take them together in the morning or 1 in the morning and 1in the afternoon,someone please let me know

When exactly should I take the medication? Everything I read so far only says with a meal....but does it mean before or after the meal? I was wondering if it made a difference. Thanks for the help!

Hello, Bobbye! How are you?

It's usually taken at meal times, so with breakfast and dinner, but are supposed to avoid taking it with a very high fat meal.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth.

Is there anything else I can help with?
