I was taking 25mg tab Hydrochlorothiazide for quite a while, now I have a new doctor and she gives me lisinopril 10mg tab. I am concerned because on the label it says Lup, as the mfg, blue color, with Watson as the mfg. Please help.

Hello, Mimose! How are you?

Sometimes, one is just a licensed distributor for a medication from a different manufacturer, so it is possible that Lupin makes it and it's being distributed by Watson, or vice-versa.

What are the markings on them? That would enable me to research it for you and let you know the original manufacturer. Can you please post back and clarify? Thank you!

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension.
