Meto-ER contains the active ingredient Metoprolol is a time released formulation, it is a beta blocker that is used to help treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac problems.

Learn more Metoprolol details here.

Nihar, the Meto-AM contains the Metoprolol that I've listed above, as well as Amlodipine, which is a calcium channel blocker that is used to treat similar conditions.

Learn more Amlodipine details here.

And no one's blood pressure is ever constant and has the same reading all the time, it will always fluctuate, depending on time of day, your activity levels, fluids, sodium intake and many other factors.

Sanjeev, as i said it is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure.

Are there any other questions?
