Hello,

Based on my research, Clorfex contains the active ingredient Ciprofloxacin. It is a is a second-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic that is used to treat various types of infections including infections of bones and joints, endocarditis, gastroenteritis, malignant otitis externa, respiratory tract infections, cellulitis, urinary tract infections, prostatitis, anthrax, chancroid, and more.

Ciprofloxacin is available as tablets, intravenous solutions, as well as eye or ear drops.

Common side effects may include (but are not limited to): nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea.

Is it safe to give my dog a lil bit of clorfex antibotic because i took him to the vet hospitol and they said i should think about putting him down i picked him up and walked out of that pathetic little office and said if you wont help me then i will take him home amd let him die in peace if if hes gonna because i didnt have four hundred dollars befor they would see him and they quoted me fifteen hundred ninety dollars vet bill for two to five nite hospitol stay so i used my ol faithful love and the Lord to take action and by golly my little baby boy is pulling through i believe thair is power in prayer and more people should believe and pray because he's real i mean really real csuse i swear my boo boo eas on his way out and he is eating and drinking and a lil play time took effect i cant wait untill he is better i will be able to play with him again and love him more and more and take good care of him better care than i have been make sure he gets all his shots not just a quarter of them like i did when he is better i will be getting all of them we sometimes forget they require alot of responsibiity and lots of love food and water i gotchu boo boo hunny love
