If you will type in and search , here is what to type in ...What does a 15 mg morphine look like and you might get a wbsite that has pictures of the pills.

This tablet does not contain Morphine, nor any type of narcotic!

This tablet contains 5mgs of Amlodipine, it is a calcium channel blocker that is commonly used to help control high blood pressure and treat other cardiac conditions.

Common side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, headache and dry cough.

Is there anything else I can help with?

Andrea, please let me assure you that your attempts to help are very much appreciated, which is why I didn't say anything to you and just clarified what the tablet does contain, to avoid confusion for anyone that might be looking for information on the same one in the future.

You are correct, that there are Morphine tablets that meet this description, as well, but the markings on them are different. I used to take a blue, 15mg Morphine tablet myself, years ago, when I was on pain management. It was made by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and has an M in a box on one side and a 15 on the other. There are also several others on the market that are round and blue and they will all have different markings.

However, Morphine is not the only round, blue tablet on the market, which is why the imprints have to be used in order to get a correct identification. There are also some over the counter products on the market that meet that basic description.

Your posts will always be welcome on this site, as we welcome everyone that wants to help others with their knowledge and information. Be it from personal experience, professional knowledge or what have you!

And the only reason I made sure the first sentence of my posts clarified that they are not narcotics, is to prevent someone from assuming that is what they have and such details can also be very important when it comes to medication allergies.

And if you do want to help people, perhaps with some identifications or information, you can always try searching under posted imprint markings or feel free to make posts and share you experience using narcotics, such as side effects, any problems or good benefits you had. We have many other people on here that will find such information very valuable, because they may not have taken a certain medication, before and you can give them an idea of what they might need to expect from using it.

And for anyone curious about the details on Morphine:

Verwon, Thank you for your response and as I said before I am sorry for being so defensive as I felt you made it sound as if I was totally wrong when in fact I was partly right in the shape and coloring of the 15 mg morphine and the 60 mg morphine, I just didnt remember any other markings on my pills as I stated I dont take them anymore. But everyone should understand that people should be familiar with the other markings or numbers on the pills too in order for them not to mess up and take something that may counteract with the pill they might be inquiring about. Dont take anything unless you are positive of what it is. You can always call a druggest and ask some questions to get the proper identity of the pill. Thanks Andrea
