Cipro Dosage For Uti
UpdatedWhat is the typical dosage per day of cipro for a uti for a 75 yr old woman? I am taking 500 mg twice a day and now have back flank pain on my right side after taking it for 5 days.

That is a normal dosage for treating a UTI, however, at your age you may experience more severe side effects than someone younger.
The FDA lists other typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
How are you feeling, now? Has there been any change?
