Cipro Side Effects

Hey!

I took Cipro for a SIBO infection for two weeks, twice a day. It made me extremely sick but so did the SIBO so we just kind of went with it anyway. My concern is the tendon issue. I have pains all the time that come and go for various unknown reasons, and am having pain in my right arm right now. I plan to call the doctor, but I was wondering in the meantime: does anyone know how long it might take for the risk of tearing a tendon to go away? Is it a few days, weeks, any clue? It's very hard for me not to work out and I've been staying put for 2 weeks now, so I'm ready to get up and go.

What did your doctor say?

I haven't really been able to find a definitive answer on this either, unfortunately. My best guess would be to wait a week or so, after finishing it, but I am not a doctor, so they would be the best person to ask.

I've been taking Cipro (750mg) for a MRSA infection. I have been suffering from diarrhea and hot flashes. I was put on lotimil for the diarrhea and it has eased. I was on 750mg twice a day then I was told to take 1/2 in the morning. Now it has eased but I'm still suffering from diarrhea, just not as bad. I have been on meds for 2 months and I have beaten the MRSA infection. I only have 6 more days of treatment and my doctor said I'll be able to cease the tablets. I also was taking rifadin.
