Some are formulated to prevent hypoglycemia while others are designed to reduce hyperglycemia. These are manufactured by "Mead Johnson Nutritionals". Since this is considered to be a nutritional supplement, I would think that your best bet would be checking out your local GNC or Vitamin Shoppe. Although I did however find another bar that is meant to be similar to these. It is called Ensure Glucerna (Manufactured by Ross Products Division). These bars are formulated to reduce Hyperglycemia.
