I can assure everyone that reads this that the new Oxycontin formulation was thoroughly tested by Purdue in various situations, including someone's having a high intake of certain foods and beverages, to ensure it would retain its time released nature, so the only thing I can see this doing would be to make someone gag, due to the awful taste.

Medications should always be taken in the manner they are intended to be taken, it is very dangerous to try to break them down and get them to work faster.

Your stomach acid is stronger than the citric acid. If you break it down to a fine powder you are doing better by helping your stomach get the job done quicker. I still don't think this will work due to the way the drug is formulated. (work faster) sorry

I just had my second back surgery this week the doctorgave me 10 mg oxycontin and 7.5 325 oxycodone when they released me from the hospital today.
