Cephalexin Antibiotics

All doctors have prescribed me to take 1 antibiotic 4 times a day, but another doctor said to take 2 tablets twice a day. Does it matter how you take them? Which method has the best effect?

It is consistent dosing that's important, you have to keep it in your system at a consistent regular level, in order for it to eradicate the bacteria. So, you can take it, either way, whichever works best for you, but keep the timing as precise as possible. If you take 2 of them twice a day, keep them as close to 12 hours apart as possible; or if you take it 4 times a day, keep them as close to 6 hours apart as possible.

The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
