Anyhow, from what I was able to gather, it stays in your system for roughly three days max; but nine times out of ten basic drug tests don't test for soma (Carisoprodol). Additional information I found states the following: "Soma itself is eliminated from the body quickly, within a day. However, the metabolite, meprobamate (that soma breaks down into), can take several days to be cleared from the body and can show up in the urine for several days." - if they actually test for it. Everyone keeps saying its a 350mg Carisoprodol, but those are white round with A 266 and they have no Z. A friend i know has taken 25 per day for years. They started with a dose of 6 at a time, then a dose of 4, then 7, then 5 - day and night. Can't believe how addicted they are. What are CA. penalties if caught doctor shopping to get enough to keep okay? He wants to know. ## I think Doctor Shopping of any controlled substance is a Felony. 25 Soma per day for years can damage your liver. While certain states treat Soma different than California, having any prescription medicine not prescribed by a Doctor can get you placed behind bars, even for a single dose.

It sounds like you have a sleep disorder. After you talk to a Doctor so that it can be determined if you do, he could prescribe Ambien CR, which is controlled release, so as to work through the night. Since you are taking Soma, Carisoprol or by any other name, still a muscle relaxer, and if you need pain pills, you are going to need to see a Dr. who specialized in pain management. Big white capsules bought on Mexico & was told they were soma's, which I have taken off & on for 22 yrs. can someone please tell me if they are soma's? Which medicine is stronger DAN 5513 or BAC 832? ## The tablet with the marking 5513 DAN is manufactured by Watson Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 350mgs of Carisoprodol. The tablet with the marking BAC 832 is manufactured by Upsher-Smith and they list it as being a 10mg Baclofen tablet. I have been on carisoprodol&nucynta for 2yrs for muscle spams & knots all over my body.I also take gabapentin&thyroid mess for hypothyroidism.Could these meds deplete potassium levels? ## Has blood work shown yours to be low? It can happen for many reasons and may not necessarily be related to any medications that you're taking. It could just simply be due to not taking in enough of it in your diet, because it can be hard to eat enough of the proper foods to meet the RDA. However, before taking a supplement, you do need to make sure that it's needed, since too much of it can also be dangerous.
