t 100 pill scored round

its purple grayish, has a T with line under it, and 100 below the line. Nothing on the back. no other markings. I found it in the driveway and was told it maybe a pill for chemo. If so I would like to know if one of my family members has cancer. Thank you. ## The only pill in the databases that matches this is actually T 109, though it is commonly misread, due to the size of the marking. It contains 200mgs of Carbamazepine, a mood stabilizer used to treat Epilepsy and BiPolar Disorder. There is a cancer treatment drug that has a T100 marking, but it is not gray and does not have the line/score mark under the T. Is there anything else I can help you with? ## This may be Temaril, a drug used for canines to relieve itching or as a cough suppressant. ## A circular white tablet (exactly the ...

Oxetol 150 And Pregnency Side Effects

Hi, My wife is 5 months pregnant, and pregnancy is identified as twins, but my wife is on OXETOL 150 (1 - 0 -1), i would like to know side effects on the same. Thanks in advance. ## Oxetol contains the active ingredient Oxcarbazapine, it is an anticonvulsant that is also used as a mood stabilizer. As to its use during pregnant, studies in pregnant animals showed some toxicity and developmental abnormalities, but there have been no controlled studies done in humans. However, many are concerned about its possible risk, because it is very closely related to the medication Carbamazepine, which is known to be teratogenic in humans. Has she talked to her doctor? She really should do so, because it is vital that they evaluate and possible risks and benefits of her continued use of the medicati...

Orange or Brown Oval 271

My toddler found an orange/brown oval pill marked 271 in a toy we had been given second-hand. He's played with the toy for about a year so I don't know how/when it got there. ## Hi Amanda, Unfortunately the closest match I can find with an imprint of 271 is a round pink pill, identified as Carbamazepine (chewable) 100 mg; used primarily in the treatment of epilepsy. Manufacturer: Torrent Pharmaceuticals National Drug Code (NDC): 13668-0271 Is there perhaps any way that it might be pink in color as opposed to orange or brown? Hopefully someone else on here with this pill can offer their opinion as well. ## Hi. It's a generic Advil cold & sinus. More info at: chealth.canoe.ca/drug_info_details.asp?brand_name_id=4874. Carbamazepine Zen Retard

My wife's been taking Zen Retard for approximately 5 to 7 years. She did not have any fits the last 2 to 3 years so she stopped taking pills. Now since she is going through lots of physical and mental stress she had a few fits. We consulted our Doctor and she is now ok since the last 6 months. But since the last approx 1 month she is going through various side effects as described above. Also we are now thinking about changing our Doctor. Pls comment. ## How is your wife doing? If she has some seizure disorder, she should remain on an appropriate medication, even if she goes a long period of time without experiencing a seizure, unless her doctor directs otherwise. Some of these disorders are not curable, they can only be controlled via medications and lifestyle changes, according to...

I just started taking carbamazepine 200 mg. I was curious as to when this medicine reaches its full benefit? Also, will this medicine cause depression? Thank you ## Hi Dawn, According to the manufacturer, it has been stated that several weeks are often required in order for carbamazepine to reach its full effectiveness. However they also go on to note that improvements in symptoms may occur sooner in some patients. I would just recommend keeping an open line of communication with your doctor to discuss how things are going for you during the first few weeks of being on this medication. In certain situations it may take up to several weeks before you even notice enough changes in your symptoms to decide if this medication is really right for you. So I wouldn't worry if you don't ...
