I'm sorry you are having such a rough time getting it filled. This has been happening all over the U.S. There have been many posts about it.

Learn more Oxycodone details here.

When trying to find a place to get it filled, are you going in to the pharmacies, or are you just calling?

I know most to all pharmacies carry this. But unfortunately they might not have it readily on hand for the amount you need. I have had this issue in the past. The best thing you might have to do is call whatever pharmacy you are going to go to at least two wks in advance so they have plenty of time to order it. I know it's a pain. But it might save you from all the stress of running around. Good luck, I hope you find a pharmacy for your meds. God Bless

Hopefully my reply finds you in a better situation than when you wrote. Most pharmacies carry Oxycodone, but they may need to order it. By law, they cannot give you a partial fill of CII meds (which Oxycodone is a CII or Schedule II), giving you the rest when it comes in. Most pharmacies have a quick order ship time. Try CVS - I use them, and there are at least 3 in Vegas. They can usually have mine ordered and in stock within 24 hours, the weekend being the exception. (Order on Fri - received on Mon). Good luck!

I will be moving to Las Vegas, NV in the next 3 years or so, one of my fears is that I will have a problem find a good pain Dr. that will continue my meds, most will with my medical records, MRI's and RX History . If anyone goes to a pain doctor or clinic in vegas that they recommend of course they use Roxicodone 30mg only #90 is all the take each month, please let me know, I see a few on the internet, but its always nice to go somewhere that you already know or have talk with someone who goes there to see how they work , if they are a nice dr, rude, or a a good staff, or a rude staff, I would miss my current DR I love him and the staff and the office location, 12 minutes from my home and my pharmacy is closer. I rarely have trouble getting my Oxycodone 30's filled since I am on the "LIST" At Walgreens, sometimes they will not add new patietns to that list, some of them and some will not...go to another one until they do and say hey, I will need this every month, if I bring you the script will you be able to fill each time, after they fill once of course, say that to the pharmacist. by the way NEVER CALL 2 WEEKS BEFORE AND I NEED THIS OR THAT, ITS 1ST COME 1ST SERVE, THEY WILL NOT HOLD MEDS FOR A PATIENT,. ATLEAST MY PHARMACIST WILL NOT, WHEN THEY ARE OUT, THEY WILL GET MORE IN 3 DAYS MAX. I just go down the street and get filled somewhere else when that rarely happens. take care all. never call and ask if they have it over the phone too, that's illegal.

It actually isn't illegal to call ahead and ask if they have the med in or not. Some pharmacists do not like it and may not tell you the truth but it isn't illegal. I call ahead every month to my pharmacy and never have any problems with it. And my pharmacist usually has mine in because he knows I get the meds every month. Good Luck to everyone!!! This isn't an easy life being in pain all the time, my heart goes out to everybody

In long island, you have to go to the same pharmacy every time and it's all done by computer now (no more paper prescriptions). There are times that they claim I'm early but I go to the pain management doctor every 4th Monday. My doctor is new and got rid of all the addicts in his first 4 months. I have severe arthritis and am getting worse but I take what I'm prescribed, never extra. This life sucks since I don't take any street drugs or any booze, but have tried medical marijuana and I'm leaning towards that for my pain for good. My pharmacy is cvs and they have never not had my meds which is 20mg oxy and 5 mg diazepam. Never heard of a pharmacy not filing just because... Maybe my doctors are very strict. I have U/A's every month and if you don't have meds in your system they take it away. Best of luck to all of you because living in pain sucks and not getting your meds and going through withdrawals is the worst.
