Can You Cut A Suboxone Strip

I am new to taking.suboxone . I have 8mg strip, I'm not wanting to take the whole thing without knowing how it affects me and was wondering if it still works the same if I cut it in half. I also am bad about the taste of meds if I was to take a drink and ball the strip up and drop it in the pop in my mouth and swallow it if it will work the same also ?

Yes, you can cut them, they aren't time released.

The FDA lists this as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

And yes, though you should take it, as instructed by your doctor. But swallowing it just causes it take a little longer to start entering your blood stream.

Yes Suboxene Orange strips can cause nausea and projectile vomiting I have taken them when I came off of opiates and it was like a wonderful help felt better immediately but took just 1/4 of an 8 mg. Strip and i have been feeling nauseated and projectile vomiting and even liquids I drank I threw up horribly I hope this helps

You can cut the suboxone film into pieces. It's the same with breaking the tabs into pieces. It makes it easier to determine what amount you are comfortable with and what works best for you.

Yes you can. I told my dr I was getting sick from taking a whole strip. He told me to cut it into half and take every 6 hours instead of every 8 hours.

No, you're not supposed to eat or drink anything for 15 min. You have to let it dissolve under your tongue, but yes, you can cut it in half or a 1/4.

Yes you can you can cut it into small size peaces and do a little at a time until it starts to get in your system good and you know how it makes you feel.

Hi I have a question. I’ve been cutting the 8mg in half for the last 3-4 weeks and I’ve been having really bad headaches I went to a doctor and he said that 62% of people say they get headaches on subs BUT I wasn’t getting them when I was taking them whole. I still don’t know if that’s what’s giving me the headaches but he said I wasn’t supposed to cut them in half and unfortunately I don’t have a doctor that prescribed them I have to get them off the street I want to cut them into 1/4 because I want to be off them. Should I cut them in quarters or in 4 strips?
