Can One Take Subutex With Methadone An Hour Later

If one took 2mg of buprenorphine and 8 mg methadone an hour later, would they get sick?

No, but the Methadone will not have any effect.

The Buprenorphine takes a much stronger hold on the opiate receptors than other opioids, so it stops them from being able to have any effect.

The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
