Can Meloxicam Be Cut In Half

Can a 15 mg Meloxicam be cut in half? I have reactions to anti-inflammatory and would like to see if I can get by with 7.5 mg but already have a full bottle of 15 mg.

Generally, if there is a score line on the pill, it is meant to be cut in half for these circumstances. But if there is not one, this can safely be done with any medication that is not time released and/or does not specifically instruct you not to do so.

Just be sure to continue to take it as recommended by your doctor.
