Am I Able To Take Codeine #3, If I'm Allergic To Penicillin&Amox? And Am I Able To Take Naproxen ? ( Seperatly )

Yes. Codiene # 3 is Codeine 30 mg/Acetaminophen 325 mg and is used for pain relief. Naproxen is an nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is used to reduce inflammation and lower fever. Penicillin and amoxicillin are antibotics and are used to treat infections. Being allergic to Penicillin and amoxicillin has nothing to do with Codiene # 3 and narpoxen.

Codeine #3 IS NOT 30mg of codeine. That is actually called Tylenol #3 with codeine. Please be careful what you read on here! Codeine comes in 2.5, 5, 7 mg, etc. This reply was shocking to read,v and I hope that wasn't an actual doctor replying.

I believe the person who said Codeine 3 meant Tylenol #3 which has 30mg of Codeine and 300mg of tylenol. Adults can have a maximum of 360mg of Codeine in a 24 hour period. I haven't seen Codeine in the amounts you listed... 2.5mg,5mg,7mg, etc is usually the amount of Hydrocodone or Oxycodone in a tablet that is usually part Tylenol in reference to narcotic pain medications.
