Camber Pharmaceuticals Generic Percocet (Page 17)

Updated

Just got Camber Pharm generic Percocet at Walgreens instead of the Actavis brand. It's giving me an upset stomach and causing me to feel weird. Has anyone else had a similar reaction?

The really insane thing about this is that Walgreens will sell you toxic narcotic analgesics and then treat you like a drug addict because you have a problem with taking poisonous opiates meant to reduce abuse and do little to nothing for pain! This seems to be the norm for all of these Nazi chain pharmacies and the Nazi insurance companies that force you to use these inhumane chain pharmacies that treat us like dirt! I feel as though we went to sleep in America and then woke up in a 3rd world socialist communist country! I then pinch myself and come to the realization that it's not a dream, but the sick insane reality in America! Suffering Americans have now taken a backseat to drug addicts and America's failed war on drugs! The government, FDA and DEA are nothing but the puppets for big pharma! Profits and fake concerns before quality of life, always! Drain The Swamp has never been more true!

I can’t understand why the law firm‘s that I’ve contacted for class-action don’t want to touch this and what the hell was the FDA doing?

Re: Morc (# 315) Expand Referenced Message

Please stop taking medicine that gives you bad effects. You can always change the meds to plain oxycodone made by another manufacturer and buy Tylenol separately. The doctor just has to require you to take pain meds separately and insurance should cover it. Some people change because of allergies to Tylenol as well.

Re: Mark (# 321) Expand Referenced Message

That's an excellent post, Mark! Thank you for speaking the truth about what this country has become, as it is only through recognition of what's happening that we can all make a shift to a better reality and future for generations to come.

Presently, pain patients have to submit to this austerity or resort to natural and alternatives means of relief/therapy in an effort to not buy into and fund big pharma's oligarchy every time we fill a prescription or visit a mainstream doctor (puppet).

The writing is on the wall for all to see. I just hope we can all work together for this common cause and realize who the real enemy is. It's not our pain; but our society's passive approval to support the flawed infrastructure of this country in our daily lives has allowed corrupt organizations/corporations to flourish. We vote with the way we spend our money and if something doesn't work (such as Camber Percocet) then hopefully more patients will stop buying into it as well as this theory that the medical industry has our best interests at heart... At what price?

Re: David (# 324) Expand Referenced Message

Good morning! Get this... I received an email from Walgreens at 8:01 this morning. It said "call Walgreens about Actavis generic". I called them back. I asked about the email. The person who answered the phone didn't know anything about it. I told her I use to take the Actavis generic oxy., was the email regarding that? Again she knew nothing about it. I asked her if they are getting a lot of complaints about what the camber is doing to everyone? She said, "no, not at all!" Plus, she had a major attitude to boot! We need a class action suit against Walgreens!!!

Everyone is saying that they changed the strength of the Perc 10's. And I'm sure they did their tampering with everything to try and ween all of us ("addicts") of pain pills completely... But why do that? It's just gonna make big Pharma lose billions of dollars. Check my other post (Opiods Getting Weaker) and tell me if I'm wrong. Please give your own opinion and share your story. They won't post my story unless people reply and I think there's a lot of us out there who have a story to share, so please go to keyword: Opioids Getting Weaker and let me know what you think. Thanx

Lildarlin, Ive meaning to ask you; did the doctor ever use the term nodule to descibe any of your problems. Did they do a biopsy when they performed the endoscopy.

Re: Bubble wrap (# 325) Expand Referenced Message

What we need is a legal suit against Big Pharma, FDA & all companies behind our back changing the formulation of PERCOCET et al who have total disregard of our medically necessary needs. We are being used as pawns for political platforms as well. Seems to have slowly krept up on us good patients.

Re: Vee (# 1) Expand Referenced Message

It is pain medication, it can be hard on the stomach, people often take it with food. If u can take over the counter pain meds and they work then do that. People can get hooked to pain meds.

Re: MAT (# 330) Expand Referenced Message

Please share with us what brought you to this site. Maybe you haven't taken the time to actually read all the comments or possibly you have problem retaining what you read. One thing I'm sure of is; you do not understand the limitations of over the counter pain medications in chronic pain or how damaging they can be to your health. If you're ever in a position to not give a damn if you are addicted to opiates in order to function daily; you will think back on your comment. Now if the health insurance companies would start covering the cost of cannabis, acupuncture, massage etc., then they could stop the witch hunt on opioids. When pigs fly!!! If they ever did cover cannabis, you can bet it would be generic poison for the less fortunate.

Re: MAT (# 330) Expand Referenced Message

MAT.....May I ask....how old are you? Your advice and comment would be offensive if I thought you were out of your teens. Teenagers may not know, so YOU may not know that tylenol, and other OTC (O=OVER, T=THE, C=COUNTER) meds, used long term, are harder on the liver and stomach than your standard opioid. Morphine is relatively easy on the stomach, which i see from your post, you did not know. But again, i cant expect a child to know this. Most chronic pain sufferers started out using OTC meds. Probably for years, some still have tylenol mixed into the opioid. Myself, since my conditions will only get worse I have been switched to morphine pills without tylenol. And, being a big girl who understands why, I have no problem with that.

Ok, I've had my fun^^^^^^. It's obvious you know nothing about chronic, non-stop pain. Truly, I am glad you dont. But.....if I had to choose between constant pain and dependence, I would pick dependence. That is manageable, and is not life-threatening. To live with the physical problems, without some form of control, can be so terribly depressing, that for some, it may lead to suicide. Exhaustion, lack of sleep, loss of appetite, being so very alone in this struggle, only exacerbates the depression, to the point that, desperate measures may be taken to put an end to the suffering. Yes, I am talking about a minority, but I'm one of those knuckleheads that believe EVERY life matters. Any sufferer that has reached that awful point, I guarantee has not had proper pain control. Once pain is properly managed the sick rise, clean house, socialize, and go to church, if so inclined. Yep, makes life worth living again. Food tastes good again. There are babies to hold, parties to attend, hair appointments. In other words, LIFE to attend to.

Your life, after a certain point of disease process, is no longer helped by tylenol. In truth, even the opioid doesn't work so well, and we need stronger ones. For many of us, there is no high to be had, but there is life to be lived. May you never have to walk in our shoes, but if you do, I hope you get the care you need and that there are still helpful forums like this one. God bless.

Re: Marv (# 337) Expand Referenced Message

Thanks Marv. Not true, but I still like it... ; )

One thing the non chronic pain sufferer does not get. There is no high from our meds, unless one is abusing them. The high the non users feel from pain meds, after surgery, or teeth procedures, is because they have built no tolerance, such as we have because of continued use. For the long time user, we need no deterent built in, because THERE IS NO HIGH! NOW it may be useful for the teenager stealing mom, dads, or grandma's pain med. But, only for them, abusers. By tweaking our meds, to include anti-abuse ingredients, they are causing legit patients needless suffering. Either the meds are not working, or they are making us sick.

Percentage-wise, what effect is this tactic having? None. Absolutely ZERO. Abusers will still abuse. Maybe not opioids, but they will find something to abuse for that fleeting high. The greatest effect is had for the politicians and legislators. They have something to point to as their evidence of action in the war on "drugs". See how I've helped the druggies? Yep, we're see'in it. In the meantime our bed sores are getting bigger, we're getting fatter due to lack of activity. We are crankier, and become more of a burden on those we love. And....horror of horrors, we are now *gasp* taking an extra half or maybe even whole pill because of weaker meds, or because of an anti-abuse ingredient. Or because we threw up the pill we just took. Abusers will abuse, always have, always will. Nothing new under the sun. We just happen to be living THIS war. The doctors, legislators, insurance companies, are the new enemy, and like the Civil War, it is brother against brother, neighbor against neighbor. As a people, in general, we all have the same needs medically speaking. At differing levels and different times in our lives, but we no longer have the art of natural remedy, though there is great progress being made. But still, we rely on the medical community, though now, that profession is being dictated to by the government.

There, that's my rant. Gonna just shut up for now.You all have probably seen enough from JMJ. Best wishes!
