I have found this pill in my 97 year old dads drawer and am worried about it. It looks serious. I've spent countless times researching this and it comes up as the wrong pill! It is a dime sized thick pill with L468 on one side and blank on the other. Please help ## From what I can find, it's listed as being a calcium carbonate tablet, similar to Tums, used to treat heart burn, acid indigestion and as a calcium supplement. I have been taking three D 500 CAL tablets per day for the last two years. This was prescribed to me for high PTH and low calcium. The condition is now normal. I have been told that this supplement will continue for maintenance. Is there any risk of kidney stone formation if I continue this dose? Will it be better if calcium carbonate is replaced by calcium citrate? ## is it possible that vit. d3 can cause miscarriage to a pregnant woman?

What are the effects and side effects of Calten D? ## Calten-D contains: Calcium carbonate, Vitamin D3, and Elemental Zinc. This is simply a prenatal Vitamin and Mineral supplement to help support a healthy pregnancy. As far as side effects go, if the dose of this medication is higher than the US RDA (recommended daily allowance) there is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk (e.g., if the drug is needed in a life-threatening situation or for a serious disease for which safer drugs cannot be used or are ineffective). Please post back if you have any other questions or comments to add.

I am an ankylosing spondylitis patient. I have been prescribed by a delhi doctor to have tablet DC Bone. However I reside in Kolkata and these tablets r not available here. I have been adviced by the chemist to have Calcimax Forte instead. Though it has the same components, can it be taken as a substitute for DC Bone Tablet. ## I can't find any information on a tablet under the name DC Bone. However, Calcimax Forte contains 1000mgs of Calcium Carbonate, 100mgs of Magnesium, 200i.u.s of Vitamin D and 4mgs of Zinc. So, as long as it meets or exceeds what is in the tablet the doctor recommended, then yes, it is fine to use it, instead. Are there any comments or questions?

medium oval shape pink pill with no writing on it. what can it be. perhaps energy? ## There is no way to say for sure what it is, if there is no imprint on the tablet, very sorry. Legal US prescription drugs must all have unique imprints to enable their identification, otherwise it could be anything. Where did you find it? ## I located a pill with similar markings to a round, pink colored pill with M 4 on it, it's Magnesium Carbonate 400 mg, Calcium Carbonate 200 mg, and Folic Acid 1 mg, which is listed as a vitamin supplement. If this is not your pill, please post back so I can help you locate the correct one. ## I found a oval shaped light pink with teeny darker speckles, no lines, no i.d. markings. It's 3/4 inch in length, and approx 5/12 inches thick in middle.

round purple pill with G 127 on it ## Found out that it wasn't anything to be overly concerned about. My adult son had taken an antacid out of a bottle and then lay it down on the counter and forgot about it until I asked him if he knew what it was a couple days later. I asked him to please not do that again as we do have my grandchildren in the house on occasions. ## Yes, this is an antiacid, it contains 750mgs of Calcium Carbonate, a generic or store brand of Tums. Glad it wasn't anything dangerous with children around! If there is anything you need help with, please feel free to post back!
