Bell Says:

I suffer from Hypnic headaches and the only thing that keeps my from waking up with a headache every morning is to take an Extra Strength Excedrin which has caffeine, acetaminophen and aspirin. The aspirin bothers my stomach and I am looking for something that has the caffeine (which I was told by the neurologiswas the treatment for these headaches) but caffeine by itself would only keep me awake at night.

Any suggestions.

Hello, Bell! How are you doing?

Have you tried taking something to protect your stomach from the Aspirin? A simple antacid may work, unless your doctor has given you some reason you can't take one and something such as Pepcid or Zantac shouldn't interfere with the absorption and efficacy of the medication.
