Bystolic Weight Gain

I've been taking bystolic 5mga day very good in reducing my bp, recently increased to 10mg along with this 12 pds increase has this happened to anyone else?

How rapid has the weight gain been?

Bystolic contains the active ingredient Nebivolol, which is a beta blocker and it is was a sudden, rapid weight gain, then it could be a sign of severe fluid retention, which could be a sign of congestive heart failure.

Have you talked to your doctor? Do you have any swelling of your hands and feet?

I too have had extreme weight gain. I have gained 25lbs in about 3 months.

Thank goodness! I've been going crazy with my weight! I was at 115lbs and am now at 130lbs. I'll take the chance on my health. This is insane!!!

I haven't had that reaction to Bystolic although Atenolol did cause weight gain from slowing me down.

So, I'm prone to question whether the beta blocker effect (will slow most people down, chill ppl out) resulted in less activity, more sleep?

I DO notice that I can't eat as much as I used to and need to be very careful about indulging because IF I indulge... YES, very quickly I can feel and look flabby and my clothes get tight!
