By Mycin 100mg - How Long Til It Starts To Work?

I started on by-mycin tablets yesterday having to take two tablets on day one and just one tablet a day for the next six days. By now I have taken three of the tablets and still feel as bad as ever. Can anyone tell me how long I have to be taking these tablets before my infection will start to clear?

By-Mycin contains the active ingredient Doxycycline, which is an antibiotic that's used to treat infections.

After being on it for 24 hours, you shouldn't see any worsening of the infection, but it may take 3 days before you start to see improvement.

Had septoplasty day surgery, did everything told to do upon return home, on second night at home woke in awful pain one nostril has yellow infected disxharge.
