What is the difference between Buspirone 10 MG and Buspar 10 MG and what is Buspirone?

Buspar is just the name brand for Buspirone. Once a medication is available as a generic, it is referred to by the name of the active ingredient.

Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and weight changes.

I had ben taking Mylan BusPIRone 15 mg. oblong pill (B3). My Dr. increased my dosage to 20 mg, which came as Mylan 10mg's, oval pill (B2) .I tolerated the 15 mg oblong pill fine, but became very sick to my stomach when I took the 10mg. Same manufacturer only difference is the shape of the pill. I contact Mylan and they said it is the exact same binder used in both sizes...I know I am already nuts, but is this possible?

My doctor gave me a script for buspirone 10mg made by Teva and it worked great. On my next refill they gave me the same medication but from a different manufacturer called Strides. I had bad effects that were worse from the beginning. Are they not the same or what? This is all new to me. Or am i just going crazy? omg....

I have COPD, Anxiety and Depression. I haven't left my house in a year. The Buspirone does help with the anxiety of a COPD flare-up, but doesn't touch the anxiety of leaving the house. What would help all my anxiety that a doctor would prescribe for me? Suggestions please?
