Have been using Bupropian HCL XL 300 mg tabs for over 5 years. The markins have always been A102 from Anchen manufacturing. Now I received a M B9 pill fro Mylan pharma - which has alot of different ingredients than the other. I have had ZERO luck with taking different manufacturing products over the years. DOes anyone know where I can get a clear view on the difference in these pills . Drugs.com has the inactive ingredients. Called doctor also, but they are more of a try and see type. Anyone have issues with M B9

Well, unfortunately, your doctor is right, there's really no way to know how it may affect you, until you try it.

Did you take any, yet?

If you do have a problem with them, you can always ask your pharmacy if they can order the other ones back in for you.

I have not tried yet. Next week before my current medicine runs out. I am hoping that all works well, but it is pot luck for me. Thanks for the response.

I was recently given the Mylan brand and have found that it does not work for me. I am currently trying to find a pharmacy that offers the Anchen generic (A 102). A lot of the post on this topic comment that the generic from Watson works best for them, so that might be worth trying if you cannot get the generic manufactured by Anchen.

Locally, I found that CVS Pharmacy & Kroger Pharmacy carry the Anchen (A102) generic. Not sure what area you live in, but it is worth checking around. All the pharmacies I spoke with were very helpful in providing the manufacturer information.

Hmm, interesting. I was just switched from bupropion 150xl from Mylan to the Anchen equivalent. The Mylan pill was working great for me. I haven't felt so well since the switch to Anchen though. I'll run out the month's supply and decide then whether to make a fuss with my pharmacy. I think it's terrible that they can just switch drugs on you without any prior notice or consultation.

I also think it's interesting that my pharmacy switched my meds one day before the news on FDA & Teva came out.

Anyone have any experience with Teva buproprion Xl 150? I have read some disturbing reports about their 300mg formulation, which the FDA just pulled off the market. I've never taken Wellbutrin. Will be taking with 10 Mg of generic lexapro. Would appreciate any insights or shared experience. More for anxiety and mild ADD than depression. Thx

Anchen is the ONLY substitute I, my son or my brother-in-law have taken successfully, It was recommended by Medco after they refused to fill brand name Buproprian, However, after several years they refused to continue to fill Anchen without specific NO SUBSTITUTE including explanation from my Dr even though it's generic. My son and brother-in-law have had several pharmacy's refuse to fill Anchen stating it costs 10 TIMES as much as other generics. They have turned to a small pharmacy for their prescriptions. Hang in there and demand a high-end generic!
