What is this pill ? ## This is generic 150mg time released Buproban, otherwise known as Welbutrin XL. It is a different type of antidepressant that is suppose to help when other antidepressants fail. Also, this medication is sometimes used for behavioral and/or emotional problems. ## The identification provided is correct, it is commonly used to treat anxiety, and as a smoking cessation aid, though it is not listed as being time released. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes, and mood changes. Is there anything else I can help with?

Do this contain MAOI? I have a prescription of buproban as part of a quit smoking program. I also have a cold and would like to use my regular program of using Alka-Seltzer Plus but see a warning about not using Alka-Seltzer with medicine contaning MAOI. ## Buproban, active ingredient is Bupropion may interact with Maoi.
