I am looking for a pharmacy that prescribes suboxone 8-2 strips that takes the savings card because my insurance no longer covers suboxone of ANY TYPE. What is the least amount I can pay for the strips, as I hate the tabs, and what pharmacy. I am in Louisville KY. Thanks a bunch for any replies!!

Re: Brooklyn0513 (# 1)

Use the app/website called GoodRx. You can type in any medication name to find out the prices at all of the pharmacies near you. {affiliate link added}

Jim, yes, those are the active ingredients in Suboxone, so what you've received is a generic form of it. It is most commonly used to help treat drug addiction.

Brooklyn, pharmacies do no prescribe medications, only a doctor can do that. If it is a manufacturer's savings card, most of them should accept it, without a problem, but not all savings cards work, if your insurance doesn't cover any of the medication, now, some are considered only to be co-pay savings cards, where your insurance is still expected to pick up most of the expense.

Unfortunately, I don't have any prices to quote for you, since it can vary greatly from one area to another. Did you try checking the price at various local pharmacies?
