I have ADHD and a generalized mood disorder (also taking risperdal) and i have experienced a change after a couple months of Budeprion XL. At first my depressive symptoms improved (like when i took non-generic Wellbutrine for a month), but then my personality started to change. I no longer was feeling suicidal, but I lost motivation to live life passionately. I was no longer as quick-witted, funny, and social as I was before (even when I was in the midst of my depression). I feel like I am turning into a robot.

Does anyone know where to find the ingredients in this new generic bupropion xl 300mg. It's yellow and I had a problem with the sr when it went generic. That one was a bright yellow pill that smelled nasty. I had a reaction to it and broke out in hives. Now I get these 300mg pills and they stink too. I called the by mail pharmacy when they sent me a letter stating that welbutrin xl was going generic and spent 20 minutes on the phone with a pharmacist trying to find some info on this new generic and she couldn't help me. ## Well, without having the markings from the tablet, so we could find out which company made it, it will be very hard to find that information. The inactive ingredients do not have to be the same between the name and generics, nor do they have to be the same fro...

I have been taking Budeprion. I used to be on Wellbutrin. There IS a difference in these medications, but after a week or two you will not feel or see any difference. However, if you are broke, like I am, Glaxo Smith Kline will only fill prescriptions for Wellbutrin because that's what they make. YOu can get the prescriptions free or at a very low rate, if you join what's called the Bridges To Access Patient Assistance Program. I prefer the genuine medication.

IS BUDEPRION THE GENERIC FORM OF WELLBUTION? I HAD BEEN TAKING WILLBUTION BUT RECENTLY WAS CHANGED TO BUDEPRION. I AM FELLING DEFERENT, MUCH THE WAY I FELT BEFORE I STARTED EITHER MEDICATION. WHY? ## Yes, that is the generic form. There are several reasons you could be feeling different from taking a generic version, first of all, generics can differ, under law, from the name brands by as much as plus or minus 20%, so if the company making your generic does not have good quality control, you may not be getting the maximum dose that worked best for you. Another reason could be due to the different inactive ingredients, the binders and fillers that are in the tablets. While these are considered 'medicinally' inactive, they can still effect some people in different ways and can cau...
