My fiance was recently taking Pristiq for about a year. He recently was changed over to Brintellix. He sees that it works extremely well during the day, and really helps. As the night gets later we have noticed it wearing off so to speak, mind begins to race, anger becomes an issue, not able to sleep, etc..... What would be the best thing for us to do about making it last longer through the day???

Hello, Amber! How is your fiancé doing?

What dosage is he taking?

It could be that he needs a dosage adjustment, or it may not be the right medication to help him. Has he informed his doctor?

There really isn't anything that either of you can do that make it last longer. The FDA lists its typical side effects as including nausea, dizziness, vomiting and vision changes.
