Brintellix And Humana

Updated

And I know like everything else in the Gubbermint, Humana is as well a "Contractor" and have a list to go by, I've been told. Humana won't pay for several kinds of anti depressant even to see if they will help, the one's they do pay for probably cost as much or more than the one's that "aren't on the list". It almost seems like they as in the Insurance Co.'s if you will, don't want to loose a lifetime customer, i.e. What if a person could get better from a new drug, I would imagine they would certainly want to work at doing something, but then again one may have to move to China to get a manufacturing job.

Well really, no one with a mental health issue is going to get better by just taking a medication, so if that is all they do, most insurance companies will have a lifelong customer….but saying that's what they want, when such a person really makes them no money isn't accurate.

Usually, they will cover the least expensive medications and/or the 'tried and true' ones, rather than the more expensive new ones that haven't been used extensively, yet.

Did they refuse to cover this for you?

Yes, but one would need to watch World News Uncut to figure some things out.
