I have a blue and red pill with the word g&w on one side and 3171 on the other side. Can that pill be used for urinary tract infections?

Hi Rose,

I located a blue and red capsule marked with "G&W" on one side and "3171" on the other, that's reportedly identified as Clindamycin HCL 150 mg; an antibiotic used for treating a variety of bacterial infections, including UTI's.

Size: 19mm
Labeler: G&W Laboratories, Inc.
NDC: 00713-3171

Inactive Ingredients:
-Starch, Corn
-Lactose Monohydrate
-Magnesium Stearate
-Ferrosoferric Oxide
-D&c Yellow No. 10
-Aluminum Oxide
-Fd&c Blue No. 1
-Fd&c Blue No. 2
-Indigotindisulfonate Sodium
-Fd&c Red No. 40
-Propylene Glycol
-Titanium Dioxide
-D&c Red No. 28

I hope this helps!
