What Is The Side Effects Of This Medication & Can I Take In Place Of Casodex ## Hello Dave Hughes, Some side effects of Casodex may include but are not limited to the following: reproductive system and breast disorders, breast tenderness, gynaecomastia, hot flushes, gastrointestinal disorders, diarrhoea, nausea, hepatic changes (elevated levels of transaminases, jaundice), asthenia and pruritus. To answer your next question; if you're talking about Bicalutamide, the active ingredient in Casodex, then yes you could take it instead if you want. However, it would most likely be the generic version.
